The Company was the first to offer private stevedore services at the port of Mombasa. The company has been contracted by Bamburi Cement to Discharge all bulk Cargo Vessel chartered by the firm at Mbaraki Wharf so as to eliminate the issue of demurrages.

The company has experienced and qualified personnel who are always at the disposal of our clients . Consultation services are offered on Kenya Port Authority rules and regulations, and all imports and exports requirements for Kenya.

Transocean Marine Surveyors is a subsidiary company of Ruman Shipcontractors and is at the disposal of our clients for both Marine Claims, Surveying, Radio Communication, Installation and maintenance of satellite equipment including Radars, Eco-Sounders, Navigation systems etc. We also offer SBM contracts on GMDSS equipment.
• Supervision of loading and discharge of cargo from and to the vessels.
We supervise discharge/loading of our client’s chartered vessels to reduce cost and demurrage which normally occurs when left unsupervised.
